Aquatics Birth-5
Our program for young children begins at 6 months with our Parent-Child Swim Class. The toddler program offers three skill levels, and for preschoolers (ages 3-5), we offer the Minnows program with four swim skill levels and small teacher-student ratios. The Hollander Aquatics Center provides a safe aquatic environment, with a certified lifeguard always on deck. Classes for Birth-5 include:

Come splash around with the family in our six-lane Olympic-size pool or in the only local training pool with a moveable floor designed for beginners. This feature is unique to the Mandell JCC and allows young children to touch the bottom and thereby adjust to the aquatic environment at a much earlier age and with increased success in basic swim skills.
