PJ Library
The Harold Grinspoon Foundation is a leader in creating and supporting innovative opportunities for Jewish engagement across North America. The PJ Library reaches out to Jewish families with young children to foster children's curiosity about their Jewish heritage and help families explore their Jewish identity. Each subscribed child receives a free gift of a high-quality, age appropriate Jewish book or CD that is mailed to the home every month. The PJ Library offers books to children from age six months to ages five, six or seven years depending on the community. Each book comes with resources to help families use the selection in their homes. The foremost children's book experts have selected the book and music list, which includes a wide array of themes related to Jewish holidays, folktales and Jewish family life.
